So What Else’s mission is to improve the lives of children and families living in underserved communities in the Baltimore-Washington Metro Area by providing food security, access to basic necessities, and high-quality out-of-school time programs in literacy, athletics, and the visual and performing arts while inspiring young people to give back to the community by creating volunteer opportunities for citizens of all ages.
WHAT IS THE SERVICE CHALLENGE ?
We are asking participants to challenge others to serve, and make social media posts with hashtags about their service experience.
What’s the big idea and vision - this is the secret sauce as we are trying to create a movement of peace , civility and acts of service not only across the dc region , but our country as a whole.
People can challenge others across the whole country and spread a movement of love , action and peace even though our charities may not be directly involved , we can still take the hashtag and still take the funds if they so choose.
For additional tools and resources visit our resource website here.
In closing 2024 we are so proud to share a brief summary of our impact last year.
READY TO SUBMIT YOUR CHALLENGE?
We will shout-out all our supporters who hashtag us in this Social Media Challenge.
If you raise at least $300, we will mail you a Love One Another T-Shirt- that represents feeding a family for one year!
